L. C. Sterling, founder.
I’ve always been a writer. First in Los Angeles, where I grew up, then in New York City, where I worked at some of the world’s largest ad agencies.
In Los Angeles, I worked in P.R. in the music business. In New York City, I worked on major consumer brands and business-to-business advertising.
I won awards along the way, helping established companies successfully grow and sustain their business with breakthrough marketing concepts, creative materials and public relations. I’ve also helped entrepreneurs and emerging companies hit the ground running with strategies designed to attract funding and bring them to market.
My background prior to establishing Compelling Concepts includes public relations at RCA and Capitol Records in Hollywood, and copywriting and creative direction at McCann-Erickson, Dancer Fitzgerald Sample, McCaffrey McCall and Warwick, Welsh & Miller in Manhattan.
Compelling Concepts is a virtual advertising agency that builds on my Madison Ave. and Hollywood background to create national print ads, radio and TV commercials, executive speeches, Web sites, and marketing for global, household-name consumer and business-to-business clients.
